Regional Pastoral Assembly – Colombia

Apr 16, 2018 | Colombia Oriental - Ecuador, MICLA

Bogotá, Colombia. From April 13 to 15, the REGIONAL PASTORAL ASSEMBLY – COLOMBIA of the Province of Colombia Oriental – Ecuador was held at the Provincial Curia in Bogotá, with the presence of religious delegates and lay people from the parishes of San Antonio María Claret de Cúcuta, Neiva, Medellin del Ariari, San Bernardino de Bosa, Sacred Heart of Jesus; of the Claretian schools of Bogotá, Neiva and Cúcuta; and a delegate from the Claretian Corporation Norman Pérez Bello.

The purpose of this Assembly was to review the itinerary of the apostolic structures of the Province in the region of Eastern Colombia around the three options and priorities: vocation ministry; biblical animation of the apostolate; and justice, peace and integrity of creation. This Assembly was also the time to elaborate the proposals on Apostolate for the next Provincial Chapter that will be held in the month of September of this year.

Moreover, this fraternal meeting served to reaffirm the commitment of each apostolic structure to the Province’s options. It was also an important moment in preparation for the Chapter since it will be merged with the result of the Regional Pastoral Assembly – Ecuador that will take place next May 18 and 19 in Ballenitas, and will be used for the report of the Prefecture of Apostolate during the Chapter.
