Apr 23, 2010 | Colombia Oriental - Ecuador

Colombia. On Monday, April 19, the “Renewal Encounter of the Claretian Spirituality”, organized by CICLA and the Province of Oriental Colombia-Ecuador started in Sasaima, Colombia.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Major Organisms and the missions that form part of the Interprovincial Confederation of the Claretians of Latin America and the Caribbean. On the part of the General Government was Fr. Gonzalo Fernández, Prefect of Spirituality.

The Encounter intends to “reflect on the points that must characterize our religious and Claretian identity today, in the context of the life and the ecclesial Latin American and Caribbean praxis.”

The participants are looking for ways to concretize the reflections of the XXIV General Chapter, from the viewpoint of the coincidences in L.A. and the Caribbean, and to elaborate some commitments for their life and mission.
