Jul 15, 2012 | San José del Sur

Catamarca, Argentina. The “Lectionauta” group of Catamarca developed its fourth workshop of the year in the parish of Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The event was held from 3 to 7 pm on Saturday, the 23rd of June, culminating with the Eucharistic celebration presided by Fr. Alonso Sánchez Matamoros, CMF, and concelebrated with the Pastor, Fr. Camilo Eberhardt, CMF.

The workshop sought to convey the method of Lectio Divina, the prayerful and lively reading and Word. In this way, through dynamics and exercises, an atmosphere of meditation and prayer centered on the word was developed.

The group “Lectionauta” is the youth wing of Biblical Animation of the Diocese of Catamarca, composed of young people between 15 and 25 years of age. These readers seek to accomplish the work of Disciples and Missionaries of the Word through the carrying-out of practical workshops of Lectio Divina, sharing their own experience of navigating through the deep waters of the Gospel.
