Cúcuta, Colombia. The interprovincial SOMI meeting took place on the 22 to the 26th of March in Cúcuta City. The different participants from Venezuela, Ecuador and Colombia lived in a fraternal atmosphere and in commitment so as to make sure that the mission that the Claretians handles would truly answer to the different challenges in doing mission to the migrants and in fighting for human rights. The meeting started with the welcome remarks of the Provincial Superior of Colombia Oriental – Ecuador, Fr. Josué González, CMF, to all the participants, inviting them to continue supporting and building a world filled with justice, peace, reconciliation, and equality. It is the hope of everyone that this type of gatherings would continue to bring fruits that might pave ways in building bridges to end injustice and human suffering.
