Karukutty, India. The St. Thomas Province hosted the ASCLA West Jubilee Gathering 2026 at the Claretian Provincial House, Karukutty, from 21 to 23 May 2026. The gathering brought together 18 participants from the six Major Organisms of ASCLA West in a spirit of thanksgiving, renewal, and fraternity.
The participants included confreres celebrating the Golden and Silver Jubilees of their First Profession, along with two confreres commemorating their Sacerdotal Silver Jubilee. The gathering was inaugurated by Fr. Siby Njavallikunnel, CMF, Provincial Superior of St. Thomas Province, and was graced by the presence of Fr. Joseph Mappilaparambil, CMF, and Fr. Jesu Doss, CMF.
The three-day programme featured prayerful reflection, meaningful sharing, and joyful fraternity. The first day focused on the theme “Wisdom of Elders,” providing an opportunity for senior confreres to share their missionary experiences and insights. The second day centred on spiritual renewal and included a special session titled “Stewardship of the Temple,” reflecting on the importance of health and personal well-being in religious life and ministry.
On the final day, the participants visited Claret Bhavan, the Mother House, where they prayed at the tombs of the departed confreres. The group also travelled to Bharanganam and Wagamon, enjoying moments of prayer, fellowship, and relaxation amidst nature.
The Jubilee Gathering became a memorable occasion of communion and Claretian brotherhood for all the participants.
